Properties
- Aluminium is a strong, light material, which makes it ideal for outdoor furniture.
- It is easy to move in use.
- All our aluminium furniture has a powder coated finish.
Powder coating
This is a process that adds a decorative, protective coating to metal, which prevents oxidation and gives an attractive, hard wearing surface.
To achieve this we -
- prepare the aluminium with a pre-wash, etch and prime;
- electrostatically apply the powder coating;
- Bake in an industrial oven to ‘cure’ the finish;
- to give a hard, smooth attractive finish.
