How to order

1. Select the products you wish to order, enter the quantity and then click on ‘Add to Shopping Basket’. There is an opportunity to ‘Ask question’ about a product before placing the order.

2. If your order exceeds our available quantity then a warning triangle will appear.

3. When you have completed your product selection, click on the shopping basket at the top right of the screen to process your purchase.

4. You will receive a confirmation email after placing your order followed by a second email to confirm your payment has been successful.

Delivery Information

Delivery method Description
Customer collection
  • We require 48 hours’ notice.
  • Monday – Friday (excluding bank holidays).
Kerbside
  • The carrier will telephone you during office hours to arrange a convenient delivery date. If they cannot contact you, they will send you an email.
  • Delivery is to the tailgate of the vehicle and you are responsible to take the items from the delivery vehicle into your premises.
  • In normal circumstances delivery is within 7-14 working days. Occasionally unforeseen circumstances may arise, which will affect this.
  • The delivery driver will not undertake any product assembly or remove any packaging.

Important considerations

  • Ensure you are able to safely lift your items from the delivery vehicle to where you want them. Heavy items will require more than one person or handling equipment and it is your responsibility to organize this.
  • You must inform us prior to delivery of any restriction to access for a large lorry, e.g., restricted width or low overhead branches.  A failure to advise us of this will result in a redelivery charge.
  • Where kerbside delivery by a large commercial lorry is not possible, we can organize an alternative at additional cost. 
  • On delivery, you must count and inspect all items for damage.
  • If items are missing or damaged then you must write this on the carrier’s delivery note or you will not be able to make a claim.
  • If we attempt a delivery and nobody is available to sign for or unload it then the items will be returned to us and you will incur a redelivery charge.
Premium White Glove
  • Two Barlow Tyrie staff will deliver your order.
  • We will take the furniture to your required location.
  • We will assemble the furniture, if necessary.
  • We will unpack and remove any packaging.

 

Availability

We offer Clearance products subject to availability and if we are unable to supply your order then we will refund your payment and any contract between us shall lapse without recourse. 

Cushions

We manufacture some cushions to your order, which can take up to 12 weeks plus delivery time. All items (cushions and furniture) will be delivered together at the same time.  

Returns

Under the Distance Selling Regulations you have the right to cancel and return your order within fourteen days of receiving the goods, in which case we will refund your payment. 

If you return goods under this regulation then you must pay the actual freight cost, which can be more than our fixed delivery charge.  You cannot return furniture that you have assembled as we only accept a return in the same condition that you received it and in the original undamaged packaging.  

If you believe your purchase is faulty then in the first instance, please contact our customer service department by email or telephone 01376 557600, when we will endeavour to resolve the matter to your satisfaction. 

Rustic Teak

The Titan Range is from our Rustic Teak Collection that uses teak featuring knots and a varied grain pattern, which we believe is part of its character and charm. Please note that a laminated timber product in an outdoor environment is ‘alive’, so cracking is normal and can be expected.

Soiled Stock

We offer some stock on the clearance website, which might be marked in some way. We will give details of any marks in the product description and show them in the images.  Please study the product description and images before proceeding to the checkout as items are sold as described. If you have any further questions please contact our customer service department.

Product Assembly

Some items will require you to assemble them. Our basic Kerbside Delivery does not include this service, which is available as part of our Premium White Glove delivery. This service is at additional cost, which will vary per item. Our customer service department will provide a quotation on request.
